About Us
Ggaba Community Ministries is a Christ-centred community dedicated to sharing God’s love through faith, service, and compassion. Founded in 2014 by eight neighbours who gathered in prayer for their community, the ministry was born out of a desire to bring hope, guidance, and support to individuals and families facing life’s challenges.
From a living room to a lakeside community.
Ggaba Community Ministries began in 2014 when eight neighbours started praying together about the challenges they saw around them — young people without direction, families under pressure, and a community hungry for hope.
We chose to respond with presence, not programs alone: meals shared, homes visited, students mentored, marriages counselled. Today our team serves hundreds of families across Ggaba and the surrounding zones — and we are still learning, still praying, still showing up.
As their impact grew, so did their desire to reach more people with their message of hope. They approached me to create a platform that would tell their story, amplify their mission, and connect them with people who could pray, partner, and journey with them.
We are a registered community-based organisation working alongside local churches, schools and leaders.
